Forgotten Password: How to Recover Access to Your Yeeld Account

Step-by-step guide to recovering your Yeeld account if you’ve forgotten your password

If you have forgotten your Yeeld account password, you can recover access securely by following these steps:

  1. Initiate Password Recovery: On the login screen, select the ‘Forgotten Password?’ option. This will start the password recovery process.
  2. Choose Recovery Method: You will be prompted to verify your identity using alternate recovery methods. This could involve entering a memorable piece of information or providing an alternate email address.
  3. Verify Your Identity: To confirm that you are the rightful account holder, you may be asked to answer specific security questions related to recent transactions that only you would know. This helps ensure that only authorised users can reset their password.
  4. Authenticate Using Alternative Factors: If you have forgotten your password, you can use alternative methods to authenticate your identity. This could include receiving a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your registered or alternate mobile number or email address, or using biometric methods such as fingerprint or facial recognition.
  5. Reset Your Password: Once your identity has been verified, you will be directed to a secure screen where you can create a new password. Make sure your new password meets Yeeld’s security requirements (a minimum character length, a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters).
  6. Confirm and Save Changes: Enter your new password again to confirm it, and save the changes. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that your password has been successfully updated.

If you cannot recover your password digitally, you can contact Yeeld’s Customer Support. They will guide you through a non-digital backup process, where your identity will be verified, and a temporary password or link to reset your password will be provided.

By following these steps, you can securely regain access to your Yeeld account if you have forgotten your password, ensuring your account remains protected.
