What Should I Do If I Suspect Fraudulent Activity?

Learn what to do if you think your Yeeld account or Visa card has been compromised, and how to report suspicious activity as quickly as possible.

What Should I Do If I Suspect Fraudulent Activity?

If you think someone has gained access to your account or you've noticed suspicious activity, it's important to act as quickly as possible.

Taking immediate action can help protect your account and prevent further unauthorised activity.

Step 1: Freeze Your Yeeld Visa Card

If you believe your card has been lost, stolen or compromised, freeze it immediately.

To freeze your card:

  1. Open the Yeeld app.
  2. Go to More.
  3. Select Cards.
  4. Find the affected card.
  5. Tap Freeze beneath the card.

Freezing your card temporarily blocks new transactions while you investigate the issue.

Step 2: Review Your Transactions

Check your recent transactions for anything you don't recognise.

You can do this by:

  1. Opening your Transaction History.
  2. Reviewing your recent payments and transfers.
  3. Identifying any activity you didn't authorise.

If you find anything suspicious, make a note of the transaction details before contacting us.

Step 3: Contact Yeeld Immediately

If you suspect fraud, contact Yeeld as soon as possible.

For urgent issues, please contact us at support@yeeld.com.

Step 4: Help Us Investigate

Our team may ask you for additional information to help investigate the issue.

This could include:

  • Details of the suspicious activity.
  • The date and time it occurred.
  • Information about any unauthorised transactions.
  • Confirmation of recent legitimate activity.

Providing accurate information helps us investigate as quickly as possible.

What Happens Next?

Once we've received your report, we'll investigate the activity and take any appropriate action to help protect your account.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Carry out additional security checks.
  • Temporarily restrict certain activity.
  • Ask you to verify your identity.
  • Guide you through any next steps.

We'll keep you informed throughout the process where appropriate.

In Summary

If you suspect fraudulent activity:

  • Freeze your Yeeld Visa card immediately if it may have been compromised.
  • Review your recent transactions.
  • Contact Yeeld via support@yeeld.com.
  • Provide any information requested to help us investigate.

Acting quickly gives us the best opportunity to help protect your account and minimise the impact of fraudulent activity.
